平成5年度、私が芸術賞をいただいた時の芸術大賞は、東大寺長老の清水公照様でした。表彰式の壇上で、非常に強い磁場をお持ちの大僧正を感じました。強くて深い磁場に身を委ねる時、自分の夢が実現するような気になるのです。書写の美術・工芸館は、その磁場のある場所で、私の大好きな美術館です。
